Program Status - values: Stopped (the agent is unloaded from memory and the control of printing is disabled), Running (the agent is loaded in the memory and the control of printing is on). The Stop button is used to a complete stop of the program and unloading it from memory. It is useful at upgrade to the new version of the program and after modifications in the configuration (enabling or disabling of printers audit). After stopping the program should be started again using the Start button. Run as service - allows you to run program as Windows (NT/2000/XP/2003) native service. Program Audit Mode: you can select one of the following modes:
Program Up Time - an operating time of the program from the moment of its start by "Start" button or automatic start with the operational system (filled automatically). The general statistics of work of the program is submitted by fields:
Allow Host Restrictions - switches on or off the control over quotas of a computer. If the flag is set, the control of quotas, over an opposite case of a quota is made for the given computer are not used, but the information about print jobs continues to gather. Host Quota defines: a quota of a computer in pages (Host Quota, Pages) and in kilobytes (Host Quota, Kbytes) per day or month (Quota Basis); amount of the spent quota in pages (Quota Used, Pages) and in kilobytes (Quota Used, Kbytes); amount of the remaining quota in pages (Quota remaining, Pages) and in kilobytes (Quota remaining, Kbytes). Quota Basis is the period of time (month or day) during which operate the defined quotas. On the expiration of this period the current values of printing statistics (Quota Used) are nulled, and values of the rests of quotas (Quota remaining) become equal Host Quota. To disable checking quotas in kilobytes you should enter "0" to the "Host Quota, Kbytes" field. In that case, only quota in pages will be checked. Example: Password Properties - read here.. At the bottom of the window there are three buttons: OK (closes a window with saving the modified data submitted in a window), Apply (not closing a window, saves the data, submitted in a window) and Close (closes a window, discards the data). If the user has started the console as the "observer" role, after closing the program all modification will lost. Change the settings of gathering of the information the user "Administrator" can only do. See also: |
